Tasia's Story

Before Embrace Grace, I was working and trying to get by while raising my first son. I believed in God, but I wasn't really following Him or building a relationship with Him. When I became pregnant with my second baby, life became more difficult, and I found myself navigating another pregnancy without a husband. Through a local pregnancy resource center, I learned about Embrace Grace.

From my first meeting, I felt welcomed. It meant so much to be surrounded by women who supported me and understood what it was like to have a baby in difficult circumstances. Through the lessons and the women leading the group at Harvest Church, I began building a relationship with God and learning what it truly meant to follow Him. I learned that choosing life was the best decision I could make regardless of my circumstances and that God's forgiveness was available to me no matter what I had done.

One lesson that especially changed my perspective was forgiveness. I learned that holding onto unforgiveness can be a way of trying to control things that ultimately belong in God's hands. Instead, I could give those burdens to Him and trust Him with the outcome. Embrace Grace brought me closer to God and reassured me that I was on the right path. Since then, I've continued growing in my faith, building relationships within the church, and becoming more confident in who I am as a mother. I'm still learning more about God every day, and I can see my life changing for the better.
