Looking back on our church’s first Embrace Life group, I think my favorite part was the connections made between the moms. They all got along so well, supported one another, and even started their own group chat so they could encourage each other throughout the week. My co-leaders and I also formed such a special bond with these brave moms.
Since completing this semester, one mom is a member of our church, another is completing the membership process, and the other two regularly attend as well. It has been such a blessing to walk alongside them during this season, encourage them, and pray for them.
We’ve also planned monthly “mommy and me” events to stay connected and continue building these friendships. My hope is that those relationships will eventually grow into a Bible study with the moms. I’m so grateful for what God did through our very first Embrace Life group and for the community that continues beyond it!
