Before attending Embrace Grace, I found security in God's Word and in prayer. Throughout my pregnancy, He continually reminded me that He was with me. Even when I faced difficult circumstances, I could feel His hand guiding me every step of the way. My pregnancy was a surprise, and I felt so unsure. Early on, I experienced bleeding for nearly a month, and I feared it could be a life threatening ectopic pregnancy. Instead, God turned that frightening situation into the healthy pregnancy I would carry to term. He showed me that even in the most uncertain moments, He is still able to work miracles.
Since joining Embrace Grace, I've found a true sense of belonging and security. Hearing the stories of the other women helped me realize you never truly know what someone has been through. God brought us together so we could encourage one another, and I felt safe enough to share my own darkest moments without fear of judgment. For the first time, I felt truly seen.
I hope every mom facing an unexpected pregnancy has the opportunity to experience a community like Embrace Grace. God brings each woman together for a reason, using our different stories to encourage one another and reflect His love. My leaders, Erin and Brooke, showed incredible kindness and leadership, and I'll always be grateful for the way they walked alongside me.
