Before I found Embrace Grace, I felt lost and out of place. I carried a lot of anxiety and didn’t really know how to handle it. My boyfriend was there for me, but I still felt like something was missing.
I didn’t realize how much support I truly needed until I found out I was pregnant. I was excited because becoming a mom was something I had wanted for a long time, but I also felt overwhelmed.
When I went to the pregnancy center, I received a Love Box with a book full of other moms’ stories, a onesie, and a few thoughtful items, and everything suddenly felt so real. I felt joy, but I also kept getting stuck in my head, worrying about what could go wrong. That’s when I signed up for Embrace Grace.
When my leader Sandy called me, I felt hopeful for the first time in a while. I was excited to start classes and be part of something that felt safe. From the very first meeting, I felt welcomed.
Being around women who supported me and cared about my story made such a difference. Embrace Grace helped me see how much I needed God in this season, and it opened my eyes to a peace I didn’t know I was missing.
Through this group, I learned more about myself and how important prayer is in my life. Little by little, the heaviness I had been carrying started to lift. I began walking forward with confidence, knowing I wasn’t alone.
I’m so grateful for Embrace Grace and for the community that surrounded me when I needed it most. Now I’m patiently waiting for my baby boy to arrive, feeling healthy, proud, and thankful for everything God has done.
I truly recommend Embrace Grace to anyone who feels alone or unsure. Sometimes it’s not that you don’t have people, it’s that you don’t realize how much support you deserve.
Thank you again,
Alyson
