Embrace Grace has been a true blessing. It gave me a supportive space filled with women who understand what I am going through and I could bring my baby along. As someone new to this town, I had no friends, but here I found a community and new friendships that lifted my spirits. It is also been wonderful for my baby’s social growth.
When I made the tough choice to put my baby in daycare so I could go back to school, Embrace Grace eased my fears and cheered me on. They don’t just help with parenting needs. Their baby showers and practical support like providing a convertible car seat have made a big difference while we live in my in-laws’ basement saving for our own place.
Most of all, Embrace Grace reminds me that moms matter too. They have been there when I miss my daughter and stepson, a hug I haven’t had in years. We video chat and send gifts, but our hearts ache to be together again. We are slowly getting there and any support helps us move closer to our family’s future.
Thank you, Embrace Grace, for holding space for me and my family with love and hope.
