WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

As a Church Buddy, you might:

Send a check-in text "Praying for you this week  -  need anything?" That's it. That's the job.

Sit together at church. Walking into a new church alone is hard. You make sure she never has to.

Show them around. Where's childcare? Where's coffee? You're the friend who already knows.

Answer simple questions. You're not there to have all the answers  -  just to be a real, reachable person.

Connect them to more support. When she's ready, you can point her to an Embrace Grace group or a mentor.
